The storm front missed us again. Hope our luck holds out. There is a big fire out in the everglades and the sky is full of smoke. There is another rain predicted for Friday, so maybe it will happen and put out the fire. One of the Elders is afraid the fire will drive the snakes into the suburbs and bother the residents. More stuff to worry about! Just hope they don't decide to come our way and eat the baby ducks. There are still seven of the oldest group and now they are too big for the birds to get them. They kove the puddles that the sprinkler system create. They huddle in the puddle and it quite cute.
