The staff meeting was another session of being called on the carpet. This is getting a little tiring. Elder Spud and I are really trying to help here and now some mother is afraid her "little Johnnie" shouldn't have to clean his own apartment! The powers that make these decisions think that the "apartment inspections' should be called "home devotionals". I would appreciate your thoughts on that! My thoughts are not printable. So, this may be the last time Elder Spud and I will be going out on inspections. Elder Graff will now refer to them as "Apartment Visits" when he makes the call and makes the appointments. Remeber now, these are tall children that have not been taught to hang up their clothes. These inspections have opened a lot of doors for us and I am sad that they have turned into a power struggle. So I will repent (maybe tomorrow) and put my feelings aside and not be offended. Yes, right! I will get over it, really! Just not this minute. On the bright side, the young missionaries continnue to call and make appointments for us with the new converts.
"Little Johnnie" needs to "arise from the dust and be {a man}" - 2 Nephi 1:21. ;p Seriously. Hang in there! You all are doing a great work there in Florida - don't let the little things get you down and remember the big picture! Love you guys!
